Pope warns Every Republican who supports President Trump
The Pope said...“It’s hypocrisy to call yourself a Christian and chase away a refugee or someone seeking help, someone who is hungry or thirsty, toss out someone who is in need of my help,”
Well, it depends on what they are a refugee from or just why they are migrating?
Is it "Christian" to accept a person into your country and give them protection if they are a coward, seeking your protection simply because they are unwilling to stand up for themselves?
How many people from central America or the Middle East, actually invited despotic governments to run their country, then when the oppression they invited in, started hitting them, they ran? Why did they not stay and oppose that which they created?
Or is it Christian to invite your own destruction? Some who have come to the U.S. have openly advocated for the destruction of this country. Is it Christian to invite them in to do their evil deeds?
I have read the entire Bible, and I seem to have missed that passage where Jesus said "Invite your enemies in, and take part, aiding them in your own destruction."
Many who are of the "open borders" mindset, have cited the sermon on the mount and Matthew 5:44...
"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;"
But these people seem willing to dismiss the fact that sometimes showing "Love" means saying "No".
